Srinagar: According to the police, terrorists opened fire and injured a man in the Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening.
Aqib Ahmad Dar, a vendor of ready-made garments in the Marhama hamlet of the Bijbehara tehsil, was reportedly the target of gunfire by militants in the evening.
"The injured was shifted to the government medical college hospital in Anantnag town. The area has been surrounded for searches", a police officer said.—Inputs from Agencies
