Los Angeles: Actress Florence Pugh, who has had intimate clinches on camera with Harry Styles and Cillian Murphy, has shared what she loves the most about the bedroom scenes.
Apparently, it doesnât include getting comfortable with a co-star or practising the lines or the scene but itâs all about a good nap for her when the crew around her is preparing the scene, reports âMirror.co.ukâ.
The Oscar nominated star, who plays Harryâs wife in âDonât Worry Darlingâ and has a raunchy scene with Cillian Murphy in âOppenheimerâ, said that she adores having a nap while lighting and camera technicians tinker around her.
She said, âI love a crew because I love lots of people around. I actually will sleep best in a room full of people that are setting up for the next shot. I could go back to my trailer and have a 10-minute kip.â
She further mentioned, quoted by âMirror.co.ukâ, âI love bed scenes... because you need to lie in the bed as they set up and see what youâre going to do in the bed. Then they say, âFlorence, do you want to go back to your trailer?â. I always say ânoâ, and I stay there like a good little bean, because then they donât need anyone to come in and help light. I just lie there and I have a full-on kip. And thatâs when I sleep my best, because everybodyâs just pottering about.â
It sometimes helps her portray a realistic awakening, as she did in the movie âLady Macbethâ. Florence tells the Dish podcast: âTheyâd done all the lighting and they were ready to shoot and I was still in sleeping mode, obviously. Close my eyes, fall asleep, theyâre filming, and then eventually part of my brain is like, âOh sh**, oh sh**â, and I wake up in a startle.â
âHe calls cut and he comes over and heâs like, âYeah, yeah, good. So I think next time weâll just shorten the sleeping bitâ,â she added.
