Mumbai (The Hawk): The late Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar's renowned song "Didi Tera Devar Deewana" from the well-known 1994 Bollywood film "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..." was covered by Canadian rapper Drake and American rapper Lil Wayne in a viral video. But it's unclear whether the video is real.
"Drake and Lil Wayne showing homage to Lata Mangeshkar, history in the making for the desi community," a user captioned a video of the two rappers.
In the video, Drake mashes up one of his songs with the Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit-Nene-starring "Didi Tera Devar Deewana."
The video has drawn mixed reviews, and some people have even claimed it is phoney. The DJ was described as being Indian in some amusing comments that followed.
I was at this show and this never happened, a user commented.
Lata Mangeshkar and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam sang the song "Didi Tera Devar Deewana," which was penned by Dev Kohli.
