Worse still, the non-stop violence in Manipur heated rest of the other North-East states to be on lines of "Manipur Burning" with its absolutely unruffled Biren Singh intact as the state's CM, unscathed though officially, as Manipur's CM, it is he who is directly responsible for all unsettling, destabilising, turbulent social phenomena in Manipur, he being incharge of entire all types of administration in Manipur. But naturally, he slackened, ducked, excused himself and yet, refused to acknowledge that.
